Like Planting a Lemon in a Cup: Your Home Will Always Be Fragrant
Everyone’s home is their palace and therefore should be as welcoming and fragrant as possible. Have you ever thought about planting a lemon in a cup? Here’s a cute way to recycle the seeds of a lemon.
Our moments of relaxation and rest are spent at home, so it is important that what surrounds us within our four walls transmits calm and serenity. It is also a health problem.
Among the things that can spoil our pleasure of spending time at home are bad smells. Removing them is a way to keep the home environment clean, which also means more tranquility and relaxation.
An excellent way to ward off bad smells is to plant a lemon : you can start from a simple cup and humble seeds, after which, with a lot of patience and care, we can enjoy the fragrance of a beautiful lemon tree. The smell of lemon, among other things, also improves sleep quality .
Let’s see how to proceed.
The necessary “ingredients” are these: the seeds of a lemon of biological origin, a little soil, a cup or vase, pebbles, tongs, water and paper towels.
First, soak the lemon seeds in a little water for about an hour. This will help remove any pulp residue from the seed. Once done, dry the seeds on paper towels and use the tongs to remove any remaining pulp.
At this point, submerge the seeds again in a jar of water and let them soak for at least two days, until they begin to sprout.
After two days, you will need to fill with soil: take the germinated seeds and gently “plant” them in the soil.
Now all you have to do is place the cup in a sunny spot and water it when needed. In summer, watering should be more frequent than in winter.
At this point you will only have to arm yourself with patience and wait for the plant to sprout and flower.
