The orchid is one of the plants most loved by women, it beautifies and illuminates the house, with beautiful colors, simply cheerful, which make the environment warm and welcoming. Many women keep it in the living room, others in the garden, on the terrace or balcony or even on the windowsill.

Unfortunately, not all of us have a green thumb, there are those who simply cannot take care of plants despite making a thousand different attempts to get a good result.
If a seedling dies despite care and attention, we promise not to take others, then we usually give in and history repeats itself. If your orchid is almost dead, don’t worry, the last word is not said, it may be that you can somehow bring it back to life and make sure that it is perfect again, in splendid shape.
The trick that allows you to bring the orchid back to life
If you intervene in the world that follows, you can remedy a situation that is certainly unpleasant and complicated, in fact sometimes even dramatic. It only takes a few ingredients and tools that we all have at home or that can be easily found in any store to bring the dead orchid to life without spending too much money and without effort.
What you need is cinnamon powder, a plastic bottle, a pair of scissors, a dish sponge, the used one is also thin, a plastic bag, some bark, a water steamer and a plant pot.
Here’s how and what to do to revive the plant in a few simple steps
The plant is removed from the pot, dead parts are removed, then branches, petals, coma leaves, roots are dried. Sterilized scissors are used to do this. Then you take the ground cinnamon and pass it over it, this prevents the flower from catching mold fungus or any other disease. At this point, the orchid is placed in a dry place, for two days. It should be placed on a cotton cloth. Then it is replanted, for this you need a plastic bottle whose neck is cut, then you make some holes in the base that serve to run the excess water.

A damp sponge is placed on the base, it should be sterilized and cleaned even if used, then place the orchid on top and cover it with a bag. This serves to create the greenhouse effect that allows the seedling to grow quickly in the warm and protected from the elements. The bottle should be fully coated, the bag should stay still so that if you are afraid that it might move, you can apply the wire. All of this will serve to ensure that the orchid recovers after a maximum of one or two months and returns to being a seedling full of life. So it is necessary to remember that it must be exposed to the sun all year round, except in summer, otherwise it dies due to too high temperatures. Once the new roots have sprouted, the plant is replanted and that’s it.
What you need to know to take good care of the plant all year round
It should be remembered that when watering the orchid, you should not use the usual method of water poured directly on top.

The best method would be natural, that is, rainwater since tap water is dangerous because it is calcareous water. It would be best to submerge the pot for up to 5-10 minutes in a bucket of water. The seedling lives best in moist places, such as the kitchen or bathroom.
Which soil is best to use
It is advisable not to use ordinary potting soil, but the special one for orchids on sale in all plant stores and nurseries. Fertilization is necessary and takes place from March to October, twice a month.

When the plant has faded or is about to fade, it can be made to bloom again by simply cutting the branch above the second node. It can happen that the plant develops aerial roots that even come out of the pot. As much as you may have the opposite feeling, this is a sign of the plant’s well-being, it means that it is okay like this, therefore there is no need to act in any way.
