You may not know it, but milk is very useful for gardening and plant care , thanks to its properties.
Benefits of milk for plants
Let’s see together what are the benefits of milk in gardening :
- It is a perfect fertilizer as it contains calcium, proteins and vitamins.
- It can be used to prevent fruit from rotting before it is harvested (in fact, rot is mainly due to a lack of calcium in the soil)
- can be used to prevent fungal diseases of plants
- It can be used instead of pesticides to keep aphids away or to prevent the transmission of a virus from one plant to another.
How to use milk in gardening
If you use skimmed milk, you can spray it directly on the leaves. If you have whole milk at home, dilute it in equal parts with water. Pour it into a bottle and pierce the cork, then place it upside down on the ground (it is recommended to do this once a month).
