We are talking about the  orchid  , which has become, especially in recent times, the best-selling plant in history along with others that have become essential for nurserymen, but not everyone manages to preserve it properly.

It often happens that this plant produces  very robust roots  and some of them tend to come out of the pot where we have placed our plant and that is why we tend to prune them.

Although it may not look the prettiest at first, you have to be careful with what you do, because when you cut these  roots,  called  aerial roots,  the  plant  may tend to spoil and not flower.

Otherwise, you have to take these aerial roots and put them in a  tray  filled with  water   next to our plant and wait for them to become strong and robust before proceeding with the operation.

By removing the entire  plant  from the  pot,  we simply have to move it to a larger one, making sure that the roots wrap around each other so that they grow strong and robust.

In this way, we will not only avoid having aerial roots but we will also have the opportunity to ensure that the flowers that will be born are abundant and strong and will make everyone who sees our plant envious  .
