Seasonal change is never kind, and one realizes how much limescale has accumulated on surfaces, from the shower to the sink, etc. The house is thoroughly cleaned once every three/four months and the limescale is constantly being reformed.

But what are the causes of limescale formation in the shower? This material occurs naturally as a result of the erosion of rocks during the passage of water from the mountain to the valley. Water hardness is made up of the amount of calcium and magnesium salts.

It only takes a few grams to remove limescale, combined with eco-friendly dishwashing detergent with natural ingredients and distilled water. How to do it?

• Pour 400 grams of distilled water into a spray bottle.
• Add 100 grams of citric acid and 10 grams of organic dishwashing liquid.
• Close the lid and shake well so that all the ingredients are mixed and dissolved. Then spray the mixture directly onto the limescale in the shower and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off to remove any residue.

This operation can be repeated once a month and, in any case, every time the lime is about to form again.
