When it comes to caring for our plants, whether in the garden or on the terrace, we are always looking for the best product.
However, you don’t always necessarily have to trust the products on the market. In fact, some natural ingredients are true allies of plants.
In particular, we see here how a single ingredient, baking soda , can be useful for different purposes.
- Flowering: Create a solution of 1 liter of water and a teaspoon of baking soda, then spray it on the plants to facilitate flowering.
- Insects and Diseases: Baking soda is also helpful when it comes to protecting plants. In fact, you can create a natural pesticide with just 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of Neem oil, and a liter of water.
- Cleaning: It often happens that a layer of dust accumulates on the leaves of plants. You can simply clean them with a mixture of 1 liter of water and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Spray on the affected area and then blot with kitchen paper.
- Cabbage (cabbage caterpillars): This particular pest can be eliminated with a natural remedy. Simply mix flour and baking soda (in equal parts) and sprinkle the cabbage leaves with this powder.
