It doesn’t matter how many times a day you clean your kitchen: if you don’t remove and clean the burners in the kitchen frequently, food debris will accumulate that, over time, can reduce the intensity of the gas.
The worst thing is that the burners tend to clog little by little, so we don’t even notice until the intensity of the gas drops a lot. This causes a reduction in board performance and, obviously, a higher bill, for long periods of time.
Luckily it is possible to clean the hob burners with the classic yellow soap. It is a simple and effective method, for which a few minutes are enough.
You need:
- 1/4 bar yellow soap
- Hot water
- 250ml white vinegar
To clean the burners on the hob, proceed as follows:
- Grate the yellow soap and put it in a bowl.
- Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the stove and add the yellow soap. Stir to dissolve completely.
- Add the white vinegar and dip the stove burners into the solution. Bring back to the boil for 20 minutes.
- Leave to cool, then rub well with a sponge over the burners and let sit for another 3 minutes.
- Finally, rinse with plenty of water to remove all soap residue.
Now that you know how to clean your stove burners with yellow soap, be sure to apply the method outlined above once every two weeks to keep them clean and running well, and save on your bill.
