Removing mold with lemon and white vinegar

• Prefer solid detergent. Using laundry soap in solid format prevents mold from forming because, by placing it in the drum along with the clothes, it will prevent residue from being left in the detergent compartment;
• Perform regular maintenance on your washing machine. For example, it is important to periodically check that the detergent drawer closes completely and that there are no water leaks inside. Failure to do so could create an ideal environment for mold to grow. To check that the drawer closes properly, it must be removed after turning off the washing machine.
