The main problem, however, is that sometimes the dust settles in the most uncomfortable and hidden places and thus escapes our control.
Removing it, however, is important not only for aesthetic reasons but also, and above all, for health reasons.
In fact, coming into contact with microbes and mites can be annoying, especially for allergy sufferers.
It is therefore worth removing dust even in places in the house that are not visible, such as under the refrigerator, for example.
Since we know that cleaning the space under this appliance can be very difficult, today we propose some quick and effective tricks.
Let’s see them together!
NB Wear gloves and mask in case of allergy to dust mites.
White Sheet
The first trick is to use an old, unused white sheet.
Obviously, we recommend a small piece of fabric, not too bulky, so that you can move it around the surface under the refrigerator.
Then place the fabric under the refrigerator and use a thin stick to move it from side to side.
Repeat the operation until the dust is removed from all the most hidden corners.
Finally, pull the sheet towards you and you will notice that your white sheet will be completely… black!
Goodbye dust!
Hair dryer
Another very effective remedy is to use the hair dryer.
However, to test this remedy, it is necessary to leave a free space on the sides or behind the refrigerator, to create an outlet channel for the powder.
It will be enough to move the refrigerator even a little more to have enough room in the back to place some damp rags on the floor.
Then create a kind of barrier with the rags that extends along the entire side of the refrigerator.
At this point, on the opposite side, i.e., from the front, turn on the hair dryer and point it under the refrigerator, moving it slowly along the entire length.
The air from the hair dryer will move the dust accumulated under the appliance to the damp rags placed on the other side.
The rag barrier, on the other hand, will stop dust and prevent it from dispersing to every corner of the room.
The dust will finally come out and the floor under the refrigerator will be cleaner than ever!
Electrostatic cloth
Another trick is to use an electrostatic cloth capable of attracting all the dust that has been deposited under the refrigerator.
However, we know that it could be very difficult (if not impossible) to run an electrostatic cloth with your hands under the refrigerator due to limited space.
So, let’s see together how to do it.
Get a fairly thin stick , capable of reaching the most hidden corners, and use it as a support for the electrostatic fabric.
Then, wrap the fabric around the stick and secure it on its top with two elastic bands.
At this point, run the stick under the refrigerator and slide it across the surface of the floor to remove any dust present.
From time to time, free the electrostatic cloth from the accumulated dust so as not to move the dust from one point to another.
Simply shake it or alternatively swap it out for a dust-trapping disposable cloth.
Your floor will be cleaner than ever!
Tights
Finally, another quick and easy trick to try is to use old pantyhose.
Although it may seem absurd, in reality stockings are not only used to cover the legs when we wear short dresses, but they also have the ability to absorb dust.
So grab some pantyhose that you no longer use and a very thin stick. Then insert the pantyhose into the stick and roll it to cover it halfway length.
After that, use an elastic band and lock the pantyhose on the stick.
At this point, insert the stick with the socks under the refrigerator and move it slowly across the surface to be cleaned.
From time to time, you can shake the sock and shake it to remove any dust that may have stuck to it.
Then, string it again and continue to collect.
You won’t believe your eyes: all the dust under the fridge will stick to your pantyhose!
Warnings
Avoid cleaning under the refrigerator or wear gloves and a mask if you are allergic to dust.
Always consult a doctor if you are allergic to dust. A medical consultation is also important if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
