onion infusion
One of the most common and used fertilizers that can be prepared at home is undoubtedly onion fertilizers. Take two onions and remove the peel. At this point, put them in water with 500ml of water and let them boil for about 10 minutes. When the water browns, remove it from the heat. Let it cool and then filter it. At this point we add another 500ml to dilute it and mix well. Now our DIY fertilizer is ready to spray the soil on orchids.
with potato peels
If we want to use potato skin because we have just prepared a delicious side dish, here is the easy and quick method. Leave the skins to soak in plenty of boiling water for at least 4 hours. We then filter the liquid and once it has cooled completely, we use it to water the soil. If we wish, we can also use this water by placing it directly in the saucer.
With garlic and onion
If, on the other hand, we want to prepare a concentrate of garlic and onion to fertilize and also obtain a natural pesticide, we blend two cloves of garlic and a tablespoon of onion. Let’s dilute the mixed compound in boiling water and then filter this water. Let it cool and then we can reuse it to wet the soil
