The bathroom is one of the areas of the house that should always be sanitized and cleaned thoroughly. The toilet in particular is a tool where germs and bacteria often find a home, in addition, over time a yellow patina is created caused by the hardness of the standing water at the bottom.
Every time you flush the chain or use products rich in corrosive agents, the white patina of the ceramic corrodes and gives way to yellow. The first rule is not to buy products that may be invasive, non-delicate, and certainly not cheap.

- White wine vinegar 700ml
- Epsom salt – magnesium sulfate – 250 grams
- dish soap 2 tablespoons

This is a natural and cheap DIY cleaner, precisely because it does not contain chemicals inside as in some cleaners available on the market. White wine vinegar is a commonly used natural remedy, which for the bath becomes the essential ally due to its acidity that eliminates all yellow stains.
Magnesium sulfate is a very delicate abrasive that removes dirt, yellow patina and also removes all bacteria. Dishwashing detergent is essential to remove limescale and stubborn dirt, while essential oil is used to intensely perfume the environment with your favorite fragrance.
Glossy white toilet: how to apply the homemade solution
To prepare the homemade substance for the yellowish toilet, proceed by placing the ingredients inside the jar and closing it with the lid. Stir until they have all melted.
Open the bottle and pour the mixture -half- into the toilet and leave it on overnight without flushing or using the toilet.
The next morning, scrub well with the squeegee and all the yellow patina will gradually be removed.
This is a solution that can also be used for ceramic surfaces in houses, especially if they are yellowish or stained.
