Marble and granite are two porous materials and, for this reason, delicate. You should not apply strong products and in any case do not let them act for too long on surfaces. Usually it is enough to wash them with mild soap and water. Below we list some tricks for polishing marble and granite.

If soap and water are not enough, it is possible to wipe with a cloth moistened with a solution consisting of 50% water and 50% vinegar: the latter is capable of eliminating any type of stain.

Another effective method is to pour the juice of a lemon and a tablespoon of 70% alcohol into a bucket full of water and use the solution to clean the marble or granite floor.

To polish marble and granite, you can use a solution consisting of 3 tablespoons of baking soda and a glass of water. Mix well and use a cloth to wipe the solution over the entire surface, leave it on for a couple of hours and then rinse with warm water.

Finally, apply classic liquid wax to return the marble or granite to its original appearance and make it shine for days on end.
