How to prepare this homemade air freshener
A homemade, economical and easy-to-prepare air freshener can become the perfect ally to keep your home fresh, aromatic and free of unwanted visitors.
You’ll need:
- 100 ml water
- 150 ml ethyl alcohol
- 100 to 150 ml fabric softener (preferably concentrated, with long-lasting scent)
- A handful of cloves
- A plastic bottle with a lid
- A jug or mixing container
- 3 wooden skewers (popsicle sticks or bamboo sticks will also work)
- A spoon
Step-by-step procedure
- Mix the liquids
In a jug place the water, ethyl alcohol and fabric softener. Stir well with a spoon until the ingredients are completely integrated. - Add the cloves
Add a handful of cloves. Not only will they reinforce the fragrance, but they also act as a powerful natural repellent against flies and mosquitoes. - Transfer to the bottle
Pour the mixture into the plastic bottle and make sure to close it tightly with its lid. - Place the sticks
Insert the skewers or bamboo sticks into the bottle, allowing them to absorb the mixture and diffuse it into the air. - Strategic

- Reinforce the aroma: every 2 or 3 days, turn the whisks to intensify the fragrance in the environment.
