Very often, despite our care, the orchids we have at home can start to wilt.

In these cases, however, it is not certain that the plant should be completely discarded, but you can try reinvigorating it with natural ingredients.

So let’s see how to do it, using the onion peel.

Necessary

  • Water
  • Container
  • Onion peel
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Strainer
  • spray bottle
  • Funnel

Method

  1. First, place the onion peel in a bowl, then dilute with 1 liter of water.
  2. Close tightly and leave on for 12 hours.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare a solution of water and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle.
  4. Drizzle this mixture over the roots of the orchids.
  5. Filter the liquid obtained from the onion peel.
  6. After replanting the orchid in the container and soil of your choice, place the onion peel around it.
  7. Wet with the mixture obtained above, then using the sprayer also steam the leaves.
