  • 4 oranges
  • Baking soda
  • Cascade

Take a medium bowl and pour the water with the baking soda into it, immediately after introducing the oranges and leaving them inside for at least 5 minutes. Take some salt and rub it on the orange peel with the help of your hands to remove any bacteria or impurities. Take the oranges and wash them under running water. Once dry, they can be put directly in the freezer for 12/24 hours.

What to do with 4 frozen oranges

To make a good, fragrant cake, you can take frozen oranges. They should be grated, after having been at room temperature for about 10/15 minutes.

Everything grated is put in a medium/large boule and the following ingredients are prepared:

  • Sugar 200ml – half a glass
  • Vanilla sugar – one sachet
  • Oil – half glass 200ml

Pour the vanilla sugar in the bowl over the grated oranges, then the sugar and mix vigorously with the spatula. Then, add the oil and mix again with the spatula.

Then you need to take:

  • Butter 180 grams
  • Half a cup of sugar (200ml)
  • Wheat grits 1/2 cup 200 ml
  • One sachet of baking powder
  • Flour 1/2 cup of 200ml

Pour the powders into another boule and then mix until smooth. Take a cake pan and brush on the butter, pour in 1/3 of the powders and level. Immediately afterwards pour the orange mixture halfway, covering with what is left of the powder and oranges layer after layer.

To seal everything, just grate a little butter on the surface, baking for 45 minutes at 180°. The result? A very good orange ice cream cake.
