Among all the plants that are easily damaged, because they need special care, there is the orchid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To make matters worse, there are also the roots that can suddenly be found to be rotten, despite taking care to water <\/strong>the plant correctly, without overdoing it. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Orchids, for example, are beautiful plants that bring joy but require excellent ventilation, otherwise they die from suffocation. They are supposed to grow on trees, so if you treat them like any other<\/strong> indoor plant, suddenly the leaves turn yellow, the roots rot and the flowers fall off. Be careful because this can happen not only with this type of plant, but with all of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fortunately, even if the roots are partially or completely dead, there are chances that allow us to wait and think that I will be able to save the plant. Just follow the special instructions to bring it back to life in a simple and fast way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the leaves are yellow, then the seedling probably received too little water or the soil was left wet for too long. Stagnant water causes the roots to rot and therefore the plant dies suddenly. If, on the other hand, the leaves are wrinkled, it means that it has not received enough water and has suffered from dehydration. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Usually a plant rots because it is overwatered and the roots do not have the proper time to dry out, because the waterings are too close to each other. A second hypothesis may simply be that the water stagnates in the saucer, also favouring the proliferation of fungal infections or other parasites.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To save the plant, you have to dig it up, removing all the substrate that covers the roots and then removing the rotten ones and leaving only the healthy ones. Healthy leaves are green or white,<\/strong> while rotten or dry leaves are brown or black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The root is then sterilized with 3% hydrogen peroxide<\/strong> , the seedling is buried in a new pot with dry substrate and each leaf is moistened with kitchen paper to hydrate it. Once this is done, you should wait at least two or three days to water, in this way the plant should return to practically perfect sanitary conditions, as if it had just been purchased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A second method is to cut the dry twigs, then remove all the dry leaves, leaving only the root outside, putting a little dry cement in a vase, obviously a tablespoon is enough. To this you should add half a liter of water, then stir the mixture, pour a little of this water into a fairly large container, in which you should immerse the roots.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n At this point they are left like this for 30 minutes. Then the root is left to dry for an hour<\/strong> , placed in a vase and covered with soil. After a week, water is poured into another container, then an aloe vera leaf is cut and placed in the water, trying to release the aloe gel which is miraculous in any context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The water is then used to water the plant, which is covered and left covered as if it were inside a greenhouse<\/strong> . It is uncovered after a maximum of 3 weeks, and to its great surprise the seedling will have created new leaves and thus come back to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once this result has been achieved<\/strong> , it is advisable to follow some guidelines that allow you to take care of this life in the best possible way, without overwatering it or forgetting to water it when required.
