Although it is widely used for cooking, vinegar is also one of the main products for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and appliances, to remove grease from the kitchen, lime from the shower or difficult stains from clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to its acidity, vinegar  also helps regulate soil pH<\/strong> , which benefits acidophilic plants  such as ficus elastica, hydrangeas and gardenias.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mix a tablespoon of white vinegar with a quart of water and water the plant.<\/strong>  This same acetic content is excellent for keeping mold at bay that can develop on some plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
