Mother-in-law’s tongue, a  plant recognizable<\/strong>  by its vertical development with a particular name. It was so called to give a personal interpretation. In fact, its stems are toothed and narrow with vertical development and without branches. A plant that certainly attracts attention, considering that the flowers have a bright color composed of many petals, which only open during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The predominant shades can be multiple, from yellow and white to romantic pink and red. The classic colors are white, with a trumpet shape and dimensions that vary depending on the type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does the plant multiply? Usually a cutting from a healthy, adult, robust plant that has already developed its flowers is used. We proceed by taking a part of the plant, putting it to  rest for 7 days.<\/strong>  The perpendicular cut that was made with sharp, disinfected scissors will slowly heal. After the week of rest, proceed by planting this cutting in a pot with soil rich in sand and fertile soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The soil must always be moist, trying to root within two weeks. Remember that it is a plant accustomed to a  tropical climate<\/strong> , so it is better for it to live in humid environments and not in direct sunlight. The  infinite multiplication<\/strong>  of this plant is therefore possible, but in case of doubt it is better to ask your trusted nurseryman for advice. Cutting a cutting should not be a hasty job and, above all, the cut should not be clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also  plant multiple cuttings together<\/strong> , to form a team of seedlings that take root in two weeks.
