Growing  an avocado in a pot<\/strong>  is a simple matter if a little labor is used with a little care. If you want to do it in the best possible conditions, follow these  5 steps<\/strong>  established by a gardening specialist to obtain  exemplary results<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Remove the stone from the fruit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Start by selecting a very ripe avocado, neither soft nor hard, with no dark spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut the fruit in half without letting the knife touch the stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gently remove the pit from the avocado and rinse it under clean water to remove any remaining pulp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: prepare the core<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Take a bowl filled with hot water at a temperature of 35 to 40\u00b0C and soak the bone in it for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dry it  in a dry place exposed to direct sunlight<\/strong>  to remove any traces of moisture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, stick 4 toothpicks into the core, but don’t set them too tight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the bone in a glass of water, with the domed part exposed to the air and the rest submerged in the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the water is dirty, change it every day if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Cultivate the core<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After 15 to 20 days, the core will reveal  a small shoot with a few 1 to 2 cm roots<\/strong> . At that point, it is time to plant the heart in a pot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave the sticks in place and grow the core, placing the roots in the soil and the remaining part outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To keep the soil moist, water  regularly<\/strong>  until the first sprouts appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 15 days, the first leaves will form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 4: Startup development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once the bush has  a few<\/strong>  leaves on it, you can cut off the top of the stem. This is just above the 6th leaf to  speed up the growth of new stems<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also possible to germinate other wells and place them in the same pot. In this case, however, it is necessary to use a larger pot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Transplant the avocado tree<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
