Oven grill: why it gets dirty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The oven is a great ally for preparing our dishes. Whether static or ventilated, the oven contains  internal racks that allow <\/strong> trays  or containers<\/strong>  with the dishes to be cooked to be placed on them. The oven rack (although there may be more than one) can be placed at different heights thanks to a sliding system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When cooking,  getting dirty is inevitable<\/strong>  and just as the stove can get dirty, the oven rack can of course get dirty too. Cleaning this part of your appliance can be really complicated. In some cases, in fact, chemicals sold for this purpose, which promise great things, actually don’t deliver what they promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately,  there is a very quick and quite natural method<\/strong>  to perfectly degrease the oven grill. While it may seem unusual to you, it is actually so effective that it will surprise you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First you will need  a very large bag<\/strong>  , like those used to throw garbage. The bag should be able to hold the oven rack. Next, you will need a  dishwasher detergent tablet<\/strong>  . If you don’t have it, don’t worry, you won’t have to go out and buy it. All you need to do is replace the tablet with regular laundry detergent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next,  you will need a container<\/strong>  in which to place the tablet or detergent. In the bowl, to pour directly over the tablet, you will put hot water so that the content dissolves well. Of course, the water should not be too hot, otherwise you could puncture the bag. If the tablet has not completely dissolved, you can use a fork to speed up the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need to add 3 or 4 tablespoons of baking soda<\/strong>  to the mixture. Therefore, we are going to create a very powerful combination that will be able to eliminate even the most stubborn fat. The liquid must be poured into the bag. You have to make sure it is not too thick and that the bag does not get punctured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 At this point, the bag should be tightly closed so that the liquid<\/strong>  does not accidentally leak out. Next, place the bag with the rack inside on a flat surface. The oven rack, in the bag, will have to rest for about two hours. If it is very dirty, lengthen the time, for example, let it sit overnight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When the necessary time has passed, remove the oven rack from the bag and rinse it under running water. No scrubbing will be necessary. It will be like new and ready to be used again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
