The technique to have orchids in bloom and healthy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Caring for orchids<\/strong> is not as simple as it seems. These plants  grow differently from the others<\/strong> , their roots<\/strong> , For example, they tend to rot quickly<\/strong> if not cared for properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just that, is that what’s happening with your plants? Don’t worry, we have a system<\/strong> for you that will give you beautiful, healthy orchids all year round. <\/strong>First of all, you need to get a 5 liter plastic bottle<\/strong> from which you will remove the cap and in which will make a square opening<\/strong> quite large (consider that our plant will have to fit inside).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the bottom of the bottle, you need to make drainage holes<\/strong> with a small knife. Instead, you can pierce the bottle cap and insert a wire or hanger inside which you will eventually have to place your orchid<\/strong> wherever you prefer, even hanging from the balcony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point, we take our orchid out of its pot and begin to remove the old planting material and then cut off the damaged roots. <\/strong>Meanwhile, let’s prepare this compound<\/strong> that will serve as natural fertilizer<\/strong> for our orchid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a container add 500 ml of water to which we will add two cloves of garlic<\/strong> previously crushed in a mortar. We mix everything. We filter the water<\/strong> which in the meantime has absorbed the antiseptic properties of the garlic and with a cotton ball that we have soaked in this solution  We begin to clean the leaves of our orchid.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do we take this step? To ensure that our plant is effectively protected from fungi<\/strong> : the smell of garlic and its properties are capable of acting as a fungicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point, we put the roots of our orchid in the water and garlic and let them soak for 15 minutes. <\/strong>Meanwhile, get pine bark<\/strong> which you can buy at nurseries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s move on to the final step. Take your transparent plastic bottle<\/strong> previously sectioned again and insert a sponge made into pieces<\/strong> , the classic green or white ones that you can also find in florists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then add the pine bark and finally your orchid<\/strong> , the one you soaked in water and garlic. Cover the roots again with pine bark<\/strong> . Then water the soil with the same water and garlic solution<\/strong> in which you had submerged your plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operation must be repeated once every two weeks<\/strong> . You will see that by doing this, your orchid will bloom and remain with<\/strong> healthy and robust roots throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
